The Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) was launched during "BioAsia 2005" Conference on February 10, 2005 at Hyderabad, India with its Headquarter at Hyderabad, India, whereas a Chapter of FABA have been created in each Member Country. The main objective of FABA is to promote biotechnology in Asian countries by pooling resources and expertise of each nation in Asia and thus to keep pace with the advances in the field of biotechnology by the developed world.
